Our kitchen islands can be finished with a variety of different options such as unfinished, stained & lacquered or hand painted, all available to you.
An unfinished choice will retain your kitchen islands bare wood look both on the inside and outside. The ‘stain’ from the stained & lacquered option is the colour and the lacquer is the smooth finish ideal for easy cleaning. Within the stained choices, we offer ‘Victoria’ stain which is darker in colour or a ‘bleach’ choice which is lighter. All stain finishes can be applied to interior and exterior of your kitchen island

e also offer hand painted options which are extremely popular with our customers. Consisting of five coats of paints in total when finished, we use two coats for primer followed by three coats of any Farrow & Ball colour of your choice. The interior of any unit will be stained & lacquered in the finish of your choice. We have perfected our hand painting process over the years to encourage the natural grain to display over time. This gives a beautiful warmth to the finish instead of a shiny sprayed finish.
