OUR

KITCHEN DESIGN

PROCESS

There are 3 basic steps we follow with all of our customers when beginning the John Willies fitted kitchen journey. We aim to keep our kitchen design process as simple and informal as possible in the early stages, to ensure we provide you with an accurate, free no obligation quote. All communication occurs directly with our designer/director Sam Crocker, who will work closely alongside you to achieve the perfect design for your dream kitchen.

1. KITCHEN MEASUREMENTS

In order for us to start the process we will ask you to send in your kitchen room measurements. These can be basic kitchen space measurements with the aim of helping Sam get a clear indication of the kitchen sizes that will be required for your available space.

2. KITCHEN DESIGN SPECIFICATIONS

Once we obtain your kitchen measurements, please feel free to contact either of our showrooms to discuss any additional specifications in more detail. This can simply be a list of your must haves to include in your kitchen based on anything you have seen in our showrooms or on the website portfolio. At this stage you can also let us know your budget and any aspects that you are keen to avoid.

3. QUOTE

We will get back to you with a free no obligation quote. We try our hardest to work realistically within your budget so having that information is helpful when advising and designing for you. All initial discussions at this early stage can be conducted either by phone, email or face to face – we work with whichever is convenient for you.

Once you have decided if a John Willies Country Kitchen is for you, we can begin our final design process. Everything we make is bespoke and made to order. We understand that every conversion is subject to change and we are used to altering designs at many stages of the process. Nothing is sent to our joinery until all parties are agreed and happy with the design and functionality of the kitchen.
