Our Classic Shaker kitchen hand painted in this striking colour and in a picturesque cottage in the heart of The New Forest.
The design and layout were absolutely key to the practical function of this kitchen and the customer’s main issues were how to make the awkward ‘L’ shape of the space and low ceiling height work for their every day needs. It proved to be a challenge but with our experience and our desire to give our customers exactly what they want we managed to produce a practical but homely kitchen/living space.
By utilising the full storage capacity of our classic 1000mm larder with wide pot drawers and not having any wall units we were able to keep the kitchen feeling light and airy and create a beautiful and striking open plan kitchen.
The island is the feature which brings everything together and is the main working area with chrome wire pull outs right of the fully integrated double ovens microwave and warming plate and is a great way to utilise the space.
On top of all the practical features the customers chose a beautiful granite worktop with purple stones which sets off the lovely paint colour ‘Pelt’ by Farrow & Ball and makes this a stunning and memorable kitchen.
From planning to installation a very professional and trouble free process. By having bespoke units made we achieved the desired appearance for the kitchen in our cottage which we could not obtain with a 'ready made' product. The joints and fit were/are excellent and the paint finish was faultless. A good job well done.
